"In today's world, women have more influence, more voice and more opportunity to share that voice, than ever before. Whether your contribution is large or small is not important--it is time for each of us to 'take our place' as leaders." --Marlene Nappa

Woman to Woman Midwest is pleased to announce a one-day workshop open to all women. This interactive program offers you as a participant the opportunity to learn about yourself and how you can be effective as a leader. Through personal and group exercises, you will be challenged to think about your own leadership qualities and how to put all the information presented to use in your own life.

Workshop Objectives

  • Gain clarity and understanding about what it means to be a leader
  • Assess your leadership traits and behaviors as well as your capacity to be a leader
  • Learn how two powerful principles affect the full display of your potential
  • Identify ten leadership styles and when and how to use them
  • Explore and discover the role "power" plays in leadership

"This workshop reminded me that 'leadership' is stepping up to take responsibility--for one's self, one's family, one's workplace, one's community, one's world. As such, there are myriad ways in which the lessons of this workshop can be put into practice into each woman's life. And each time a woman steps up to the responsibility of leadership, in any of its forms, the world becomes a richer place. I'm ready to step up. Are you?" --journalist participant in "Women in Leadership: Taking your Place"
